Recent Road Trips

Asphalt Plant Start Up
Huron, SD

In Mid-May Sam Dresow stopped in Huron, S.D. to assist a customer in starting up a new natural gas line feeding an Asphalt Plant. It was critical that the Asphalt Plant received gas by mid-morning as they had a large job for Caterpillar to finish within the following 3 days. 

During Sam's visit Nelson Technologies assisted field technicians in setting a Mooney Flowgrid Regulator and Testing First Bubble through the Pilot on a Flow Safe F70PR Pressure Relief Valve before starting up the new line that morning.

Nelson Technologies was able to provide hands on product training while working with field technicians on site. 

Bakken Oil Field, Western ND

In early March Mike Nelson and Sam Dresow spent a week in the Bakken Oil Field in Western, ND. During the trip Mike and Sam met with customers associated with the oil field, provided training, and product support on equipment in the field with customers.

Mike and Sam visited engineering offices, gas plants, distribution terminals, and compressor stations. They received the full Bakken experience while staying in a Man Camp near Watford City after a day in the field. 

Manufacturer Visit December 2011

In December the Nelson Technologies Sales team took a trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma for product training and tours of manufacturing facilities.
